We are honored to be part of the Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) Texas Touring Roster for 2026–2028.
The Texas Touring Roster is a statewide program that recognizes outstanding Texas artists and arts organizations with a proven history of artistic excellence and professional touring. Artists are selected through a competitive review process by a panel of arts professionals from across Texas.
Being included on the roster means El Chanclazo has been recognized as one of the state's outstanding touring arts organizations and is eligible to perform for presenters throughout Texas with support from the Texas Commission on the Arts.

Save Money on Your Next Event
If you represent a Texas nonprofit organization, school, library, museum, municipality, or other eligible governmental entity, you may qualify for funding to help cover the cost of bringing El Chanclazo to your community.
Through the Arts Respond Performance Support Grant, eligible presenters can receive funding to offset a portion of our performance fee. Depending on the contracted amount, grants may cover up to 50% of the artist fee, making it easier to bring high-quality live music, educational programs, workshops, and cultural events to your audience.

501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
Public schools
Libraries
Cities and municipalities
Other eligible governmental entities
Please note that this funding is not available for private events or fundraisers.
How It Works
How It Works
Contact El Chanclazo to discuss your event and receive a performance quote.
We'll provide everything you need for your grant application.
Submit your Performance Support Grant application through the Texas Commission on the Arts before the appropriate deadline.
Once approved, the grant helps offset a portion of your contracted performance fee.
The application process is designed to be straightforward, is not competitive, and TCA staff are available to assist first-time applicants throughout the process.
